Received and reviewed records
Records you upload are encrypted in transit and at rest, and kept in your Records for you and your Vault agent.
Ask Vault and AI
When you use Ask Vault, your question and the relevant parts of your record can be sent to our AI provider to compose the answer.
Dental Notes
When you dictate a visit in Dental Notes, your browser's speech service turns speech into text; Vault keeps the text, not the audio. When you record or upload a visit, Vault stores the recording in private storage, sends it to our speech-to-text provider for a transcript with speaker labels, and sends that transcript and your template to our AI provider to fill the blanks. Vault deletes a recording 7 days after you sign the note, or 30 days after a visit that was never signed. Recording is for mock visits only until clinical mode is switched on for your practice; no real patients. Vault does not store patient names or chart numbers; label each visit by tooth and procedure. Ask Vault in Dental Notes sends search terms taken from the question you type to public research databases (PubMed, Europe PMC, ClinicalTrials.gov and OpenAlex) and the question itself to our AI provider, never your notes or transcripts. Do not include patient details in a question.
