A few useful answers.
Start here for early access, recording options and what the assistant is being built to do. For anything else, email support@vaultsum.com.
Does Vault write my final note?
Vault is being built to prepare a draft from recorded and clinician-added information. You check the source, add missing details, edit the draft and decide what becomes the final clinical note.
What if something was not said?
A recording cannot establish a silent action. Add the relevant clinical detail yourself. Missing information should stay marked as not captured instead of being filled in by assumption.
Does it record all day?
That is not the proposed workflow. Start a visit deliberately after obtaining the required consent, pause when needed and end it before the next patient. Wearing a microphone does not mean recording the whole shift.
Do I need to buy the necklace?
No. The proposed starting point is recording with your phone, placed close to the speaker. The Vault necklace is an optional recording accessory, and ordering it is a separate choice.
How much is the necklace?
$249. You can pre-order it today with no payment: we'll email you to complete your purchase before it's ready to ship, and it ships only after FCC authorization. Pre-order your necklace
Can I use an Apple Watch?
Apple Watch capture is a planned option; compatibility testing is required. Do not rely on it for a patient visit until compatibility and the recording workflow are confirmed.
Will it work around suction, drills and other voices?
Clear audio matters. A microphone close to the dentist may help, but distance, masks, equipment noise and overlapping voices can affect capture. Operatory performance is being tested; Vault does not promise perfect transcription.
Does Vault file notes into my practice software?
Direct filing integrations are not promised here. The proposed initial workflow is to review the draft, then copy or export it into your practice software through the practice-approved process.
How is patient information handled?
The clinical data-handling model, processing providers, retention rules and practice agreements must be confirmed before patient use. Read Privacy & trust for the current boundaries. Public demonstrations use fictional information only.
Does the AI run entirely on my device?
We are planning local-first processing. Before clinical use, we will explain which steps happen on your device and which use cloud services.
Can an associate dentist join?
Yes, associates can join early access. Use with patient information will depend on the practice-approved workflow and the required agreements. Joining early access is not permission to record patient visits.
What can the Office Assistant do?
It is being built to answer questions using authorized practice information and prepare work such as questions for your CPA or a message draft. You review the sources and approve the next step.
What are the software prices?
Every free account includes Dental Notes Free, with 30 notes and 10 medical questions a month, and Office Assistant Free. Dental Notes Pro is $129 a month for unlimited notes, medical questions included. Dental Notes Pro + Office Assistant Pro is $179 a month.
Is there a free trial?
The free plans are always free. If you have a promotion code, your first month of both Pro plans is free too. Dental Notes starts the day recording turns on, and no card is needed to start.
When can I start?
Vault is in early access. Join early access to tell us about your workflow, and we will email you when your spot opens. No launch or shipping date is promised on this page.
