Design
A compact silver capsule.
Worn on a chain or attached at a chest pocket. Final specifications and available formats will be confirmed before the necklace ships.

Capture
Choose how to capture.
Placement and audio quality matter more than the shape of the accessory.
Recording
Wear it through your day. Record deliberately.
Start a patient encounter only after the required consent. Pause when the conversation should be private. End it before the next patient. There is no promise of automatic always-on capture.
Close capture helps. Testing tells us how much.
Masks, head movement, overlapping voices, suction and drills can affect a recording. The actual setup will need testing in representative dental environments before performance claims are made.

Questions
Do I need to buy the necklace?
No. The proposed starting point is recording with your phone, placed close to the speaker. The Vault necklace is an optional recording accessory, and ordering it is a separate choice.
How much is the necklace?
$249. You can pre-order it today with no payment: we'll email you to complete your purchase before it's ready to ship, and it ships only after FCC authorization. Pre-order your necklace
Can I use an Apple Watch?
Apple Watch capture is a planned option; compatibility testing is required. Do not rely on it for a patient visit until compatibility and the recording workflow are confirmed.
Will it work around suction, drills and other voices?
Clear audio matters. A microphone close to the dentist may help, but distance, masks, equipment noise and overlapping voices can affect capture. Operatory performance is being tested; Vault does not promise perfect transcription.
Does it record all day?
That is not the proposed workflow. Start a visit deliberately after obtaining the required consent, pause when needed and end it before the next patient. Wearing a microphone does not mean recording the whole shift.
